Doing Real-World Science, But Skipping The Ph.D. : NPR

This is a story that NPR's Science Friday did in January about crowdsourcing scientific research.  I found it very interesting and when we talked about crowdsourcing in class the other day I immediately rememebered it..  You should listen to the story or read the trasncript if you're interested.  It's short but, like most stories on Science Friday, very good.
